Mood

This is the actual .riv our engine delivers, playing in your browser — the same state machine you drive from your app with one number input.

One set

Six animations, ready for every moment in your product.

Try it — free, no account

See your character in the places it will live.

Drop in your mascot or logo. We place it, as-is, in three real layouts next to a demo character playing the animation you'd get. Nothing is uploaded — it stays in your browser.

For the best result

  • Flat, front-facing artwork — like a sticker or app icon
  • Plain or transparent background
  • Square-ish, at least 512 × 512 px
  • Clear shapes: separate head, body, arms help the rig

Your preview stays static on purpose. We never fake motion — your animation is rigged and rendered for real after you choose a plan.

How it works

Upload. We animate. You ship.

The full process
  1. 01

    Upload your character

A flat, front-facing PNG, JPEG or WebP. Name the set and you’re done — it takes a minute.

  2. 02

    We rig and animate it

The engine finds the parts, builds a vector rig and keyframes six moods plus a launch intro in Rive. Usually 1–2 hours.

  3. 03

    Download and ship

Preview every file in the browser, copy the embed code, then grab single files or everything as one .zip.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

More on the full FAQ, or write to us from the contact page.

What exactly do I get for one character set?

Six animations of your character — idle, happy, wave, thinking, sad and a launch intro that ends on idle — delivered in the formats your plan includes. Studio and expert sets include an interactive Rive file with a state machine (one number input switches moods), transparent WebM and MOV, MP4, GIF, a 9:16 launch video and ready-to-paste web, React and SwiftUI code.

How long does it take?

Usually 1–2 hours from upload to download. You can watch each stage live on the job page — analyzing, building the rig, rendering, packaging — and we email you when the set is ready.

What kind of image works best?

Flat, front-facing artwork on a plain or transparent background: think sticker, app icon or mascot sheet. PNG, JPEG or WebP, at least 512 × 512 px and up to 10 MB. Characters with clearly separated head, body and limbs give the most expressive rigs. Photos of real people are not supported.

Is this AI-generated?

No generative model redraws your character. The engine traces your artwork’s own shapes and colors into vector parts — with automated, AI-assisted checks of which part is a head, an arm or an accessory — then rigs them and keyframes the animations in Rive. What you download is your character, moving, not a lookalike.

What is a Rive file and why would I want one?

Rive is a runtime for interactive vector animation on the web, iOS, Android, Flutter, React and game engines. Instead of six separate videos you ship one small file (typically under 20 KB) and switch moods in code — mood = 2 waves, mood = 3 thinks. It stays sharp at any size and blends between states smoothly.

How do monthly sets work?

Starter includes 2 character sets per month and Studio includes 3. Unused sets don’t roll over; your allowance resets at the start of each billing period. You can cancel any time from your account and keep everything you’ve downloaded.

What happens to the image I upload?

It is stored privately, processed on our own machines to build your set, and never used to train AI models. You can download or delete your data at any time from your account; deleting your account permanently removes your uploads and outputs. Details are in the privacy policy.
